{+} Things keep getting worse for former President Bush, as all the progress he (thought he) made during his eight years is being swiftly wiped away. Latest example:

The United States, in a reversal of Bush administration policy, has decided to sign on to a U.N. declaration that calls for the decriminalization of homosexuality.

Next thing you know, we’ll be taxed 80% and marrying our pets! Hippies.

———-

{+} I don’t know how I stumbled across this story entitled “Chuck Norris sues, says his tears no cancer cure,” but … that’s a joke, right? Did this happen? On planet Earth? Help.

———-

{+} Here’s an intriguing trailer for a new movie written by my hero Dave Eggers (along with his wife, the awesomely named Vendela Vida) and directed by Sam Mendes. Apparent release date is June 11. Mark it down, dude.

———–

{+} As if I needed another damn reason to hate Fox News (or whoever it was that wrote this story), let’s pile on, shall we? This article on Fox reported the following snippet regarding the Duke basketball coach reacting to President Obama predicting his team would lose early in the tournament:

“Somebody said that we’re not in President Obama’s Final Four, and as much as I respect what he’s doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets,” Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said from the Blue Devils’ first-round site in Greensboro, N.C.

I was all prepared to write something up about Krzyzewski being the Wiener of The Year (which he still probably is), but the quote was so lame and so immature I had to double-check, and … sure enough, it was a joke. Of course it was.

So there you go. Yet another reason to hate Fox News.

{+} Did anyone check out the recent Larry the Cable Guy roast on Comedy Central? I couldn’t bring myself to watch in its entirety because I hate that fraud of a comedian so much that even the reminder of his fame makes me angry (yep, I am honestly that lame), but I did stick around to hear Greg Giraldo absolutely obliterate him. I laughed my ass off, and then threw my remote at my television and cried myself to sleep. Good times, good times.

I watched the Comedy Central roast. The best joke of the night may have gone to Warren Sapp. I couldn’t find a link but it went something like this:

“Lisa Lampanelli’s vagina is like a limo. It seats 8, has leather interior and I came in it earlier tonight.”

    Gross, sure, but funny, right?
