Reserving a spot in Hell

9 Feb

A friend recently sent me a link to Buck and Buck, a company that manufactures clothing for the elderly. Too funny. And yes, I know it’s not cool to poke fun at the challenges faced by the elderly, but come on, how can you not laugh at the product description for the Men’s Back-Zip Jumpsuit?

Why a back-zip design?

In an effort to preserve the dignity of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, we have designed a variety of one-piece garments with a deep back zipper to check unwanted undressing.

Some men unintentionally expose themselves, because they find it necessary to fidget with the nearest thing – usually their clothing. Our jumpsuits have been very successful at reducing or even eliminating potentially embarrassing behavior. Family members and staff are grateful, because dignity has been restored.

Keeping the undresser clothed can be a challenging task. Our jumpsuit is designed for the non-agressive undresser. False zip-front and two front pockets help give this garment the look of normal coveralls. It has a long back zipper with a snap-over tab.

Also, try not to at least chuckle at this picture:

The guy on the right looks like he just shoved his own thumb up his ass. Also: no black man in history has worn a hat like that.

This stuff is funny…right? Am I right? Someone join the cruelty and laugh along with me.
